Massive felled redwood trees – a must see in Avenue of the Giants! There are more than just the one, Dyerville Giant. We counted at least 10 massive felled trees in this one area. What happened here? It's so profound, and puzzling at the same time.

Love this place. Nice easy place to go walk, really gorgeous forest with some amazing unique sites to see. If you had one stop to make to experience the most of the avenue that you could at one spot, I would suggest this stop! Honestly not sure if we actually saw this. We didn’t have internet connection so we couldn’t look at photos or look up info. Also the trails weren’t really marked back there.
