What to know about driving the Avenue of the Giants ⬇️⬇️ This 31-mile road is located near Redwoods National Park and it is one of the most scenic drives in the country. There is A TON to do along the stretch but a few stops we recommend are: 🌲Gould Grove Nature Trail 🌲Founders Grove 🌲Grieg French-Bell Grove 🌲Drury-Chaney Trail 🌲Shrine Drive-Thru Tree Happy travels! One of our favorite experiences along the 'Avenue of the Giants.' Make sure you download an offline Google Maps for the area.. aaaand Alltrails wasn't much help as their trail map looks like a bowl of spaghetti as there are a LOT of small trails intersecting back and forth..! Without an offline map one could get confused and lost, at least for a little while.

Beautiful hike with some great trees. We had fun. However, the trail can be hard to find and follow at times. Some big trees have fallen over it and there are so many offshoots the original trail has pretty much been lost. However, most offshoots led to the road-eventually.

This place was magical!!! We could of walked around for hours! We boondocked our airstream for the night and the ranger had us leave at 7:30AM. Highly recommend walking as many trails as you can. So much to see, these trees are...
