Anyone else have ghost experiences there? Went camping with my stepdad and little brother there at a campsite that was fairly populated. Near the outhouse, but a short walk to the lake. Night fell, we heard shrieks in the woods, other campers woke up and went out to explore but me and my brother stayed in, assuming it was mountain lions. But then we heard scratching on our tent and my lil brother peeked out of the tent and saw what he described as a group of pale, tall, wet “ghosts”, illuminated by our flashlight. I peeked and saw the same thing before flinching hard, looking back, and they were gone. I wonder if a family passed on the lake at any point because i am very curious as to why these apparitions were there. Other than the cool supernatural experience, the weather and stars were breathtaking, the woods smelled fresh and there was many crawdads to catch. I heard someone else in a social media platform mention they had a similar experience here, with the ghosts. Let me know if...

Read moreReally disappointed in our visit. It’s really nice now much more accessible this area is since Rim Rd is now paved.
Unfortunately we will never be camping near the lake again as we had, not one but, THREE groups of 20+ pull into the campsite area (which clearly states on the signs 10 people max per campsite) after dark and set up camp. They were all blasting music, one was blasting karaoke until 2am. Then we were woken up by 6:30am- which wouldn’t be an issue necessarily, but they’re all revving up their 4 wheelers and blasting music again.
I really hope they do some patrolling on weekends to enforce rules and keep inconsiderate people out of these campsites. I spent a substantial amount of my time just picking up garbage from the...
