Beaver Ranch — Attraction in Four Corners States

This place is terrible. Do not book a venue space here. Buyer Beware!!! My fiancée and I booked this place on April 2025 they notified us on July 2025 they double booked and can no longer host us in the space. We are getting married in less than a month and have no space to have a reception. Our family and friends have bought non refundable tickets and have taken out loans to support us. My Fiancée and I even looked at the calendar with Beaver Ranch to make sure September 6 was available. We have been crying for days. It has been the worst experience ever. We are currently waiting for our deposit back. If we could give 0 stars we would. This place deserves 0 stars. We definitely deserve compensation for all the money we spent making the invitations. It's ok. They said a lot of upgrades have been done but it doesn't look too spectacular. The outside of the building is pretty lack luster. I know it's a cheaper venue but holy cow. We were also greeted first by a gentleman that does the VFW breakfasts there every month and while he was a total sweetheart, it would have been nice to get a real tour first. He didn't have all of the keys and such. It's an old building and the best part about it is the windows and fireplace. It sits in the same parking lot as a frisby golf course And so it's not exactly private. The winner was the outdoor ceremony space. Very pretty and whimsical. We had our wedding here in October, and we couldn't have found a more perfect venue. Very secluded and beautiful area with disc golf, a dog park, AND ziplining! Our guests have told us it was "the most fun wedding " they'd ever been to. Brad was awesome to work with, and everyone who works there is super friendly (we even ordered pies from their onsite baker!). The ceremony site is stunning (like where Snow White would get married), and it was the only affordable and close-to-Denver site we could find that was peacefully quiet, shaded, and surrounded by nature.
