James Q Newton Park — Attraction in Four Corners States

Wonderful place to go with a camera and some dogs... maybe even another human. Summer or winter, it's lovely. Beware that snow levels can be very high, so check weather reports before heading up.

You'll see heavy conifer forest, rolling terrain, a "frolf" (Frisbee Golf) course, a small wetland area, horse trails, and plenty of good landscape photo ops, particularly during Golden Hour times.
