Really amazing place to see! I was taken back when we got to the first view point. We almost skipped the south side due to the recent fires but most of the areas were open and it was gorgeous. It was pretty crowded too. Did smell like ashes in a lot of areas. Definitely recommend checking it out! Didn’t make it to the north rim this time. The photos do not give this place justice, definitely have to see it in person!

I have loved the black canyon since i've moved here almost five years ago. I was out there so often I decided to volunteer out there. And since I have learned about the Geology it is even more special.

Only one review before mine? Am shaking my head in disbelief, as this incredible canyon may not be the deepest, the widest, or the longest, but it is one of the most beautiful, sheer-sided, and narrow gorges decisively among the most stunning to be found on Earth. Few people seem to visit still even after over 30 years since having personally first experienced the majesty, quiet, peace, and wildlife that's to be found here. A bit out of the way though once there you'll be happy you made the time. A highly...

Over 50 miles of canyon to explore with some amazing views. They offer an escorted climb down into the canyon. That’s over 2000 feet but it’s only offered with a Ranger and remember it’s 2000...
