Came to see the museum as I have not been there since I was young, called ahead to make sure it was open. The receptionist let me know the museum was open but not the farms. We arrived and were met in the parking lot and told the tours started on the hour. We got there 15 after and were not aware of this so we asked if an exception could be made because the reception did not tell us anything about timing of the tours. Despite that this place is literally in Tommy Bolack's house, everything is organized well in high-quality displays. You have to call and schedule your tour, but it's a FREE, private tour. If you go at 10am, the guide will be a little late. (I think you just have the option of 10am or 1pm each day) It takes about two hours to go through, so pack a snack. I asked if the museum was open, and he very rudely said, do you have an appointment? We said we didn't know we didn't know we needed an appointment and again in very short rude voice he said, you need to call at least 24 hours in advance to set up a tour guide.
