We hiked up the Sister Trail up to the Three Sisters outlook in the early afternoon on 12/27/20. It was a pretty short and easy hike and the views were pretty. We think we’d take family members here in the future because it seemed be suitable for kids or people who are not physically fit/active if we took breaks and went slower. There were 2-3 other groups hanging out at the top, but there was enough space to socially distance. This was one of the “busier” hikes we have done during our stay, but it still was relatively quiet and we were by ourselves for the most part. I just put my mask on when we passed people. Just a note in case this affects your decision to visit - it seemed like many people weren’t wearing a mask and didn’t bother to put one on when passing.

This is a great lower elevation hike for beginner to intermediate hikers. We started at the Ponderosa trail to Brothers lookout then down Ponderosa to the Sisters trail. My mom is 62 and not a hiker and she did great and was so happy she made it to the lookout. If you need more convincing, my 4 year old did great on this hike as well. After hiking be sure to check out Evergreen's little downtown of shops and restaurants! You won't regret it.

A truly stunning hike! If you’re not wanting to go too deep in the mountains, this is the hike for you. Incredible mountain views and a pretty relaxed hike that lets you take it all in instead of focusing on endurance. When you get to the t-intersection on the hike, go right to go up to the peak where you get the views. I’ll definitely be doing this hike again!
