I want to give CaveCreek Canyon so many stars because it is beautiful! However please do not trust the volunteers at the visitor center they do not know what they’re talking about with the trails. The first thing that happened when I walked in is the woman in there pointed out the fact that I am slightly disabled… Who does that? I hike to FORGET that. Thanks. Second of all when I told them I could hike 7 miles and they did not believe me and put me on a trail that you could not go past 3.7 without almost getting lost or hurt which is what happened yet they told me I could hike on it for miles and miles. I was so grateful for their guidance that I made a donation to their foundation. It was totally worth it for all the info...
