It's definitely a great hiking trail. From the parking lot the mountain doesn't seem that high. But when you start walking up the trails it's kind of steep but doable. The path is kind of narrow and it zig-zags on the side of the mountain until it reaches the top. I took my two daughters as we tried to reach the top. The side of the mountain hardly has trees to block the view of the steepness of the mountain. If you have fear of heights this may not be for you. Also, I recommend wearing shoes with good traction to prevent accidental slip since the loose dirt on the path can be slippery.
