Dinosaur Park — Attraction in Four Corners States

There's a small parking lot with a row of about 10 or so spaces. No restrooms or water fountains here. There's two concrete picnic tables; one is shaded. They also have two benches. The play area itself features 4 slides that go down and a twisty slide. There's no shade at all over the play area, which means it can get hot in the summer. Also, with the 3 slides that were placed in a row, the sides are very low and the material is extra slippery; the bars on top make it easy to bang your head. Small park with a beautiful view. It needs a canopy for the summer months. Occasionally there are some unsavory characters around. A few times I've gone with my child and no one else is there. I've had men park in the lot and watch us multiple times. Once a man was walking around the playground area over and over talking to himself. The playground is tucked a way a bit, so I left. I'm part of the Gold canyon garden club and we had a plant sale on March 18th at the butterfly garden right there next to dinosaur Park. Dinosaur park looks like it's amazing with lots of things for the kids to play on. However the truly stunning thing is to walk through the little butterfly garden and see all of the native plants, little places for habitats for wildlife, and then the amazing variety of butterflies that come.
