The trail goes nowhere except a little bit further down the river, but only if you're willing to cross the river getting your feet wet or find another way around by going up to the main road and cross the bridge. After this little puzzle you get to walk about 1-2 km and then the trail is stopped by a larger boulder that's impassable. If you backtrack a bit from here you'll see a trail on the other side of the river, but to get there you need to get your feets wet once again and this time there's no way around it.
This trail is a waste of time and there are no signs or anything helping you out.
