Beautiful times from my childhood going to see family and my real dad in Rifle....I was captivated by the size of the landscape after moving to Winnemucca Nevada when my step dad got a job mining... Going back to Colorado to visit.... This was my favorite part of the trip especially the beauty of the bald eagles and the power of the Colorado River rapids surging through this breathtaking stretch of Glenwood Springs...

Today we hit an object off a truck (along with 2 other cars) that punctured our tire. Being in the canyon was so scary being so close to speeding traffic with nowhere to go.
