Hells Revenge Trailhead — Attraction in Four Corners States

This is my old office. I spent more than a decade doing tours on this trail. With the amount of experiences I've had on Hells I have to say, it is the pinnacle trail of Utah. No where else comes close to the terror and thrills. As it can be done with a good driver in most stock 4x4s, the wrong line or entering a class 5 obstacle can be treacherous and regretful. There are bypasses around them. Get a guided tour on a utv and save yourself a expensive learning curve. If you feel that you're a confident and daring driver go for it, but get a map and don't hesitate to ask a question from locals or a guide if you are lost. I have wanted to ride this trail for years and I finally had the chance to. In short, it was amazing! I met some cool guys on the trail and we ended up running it together. this Trail is definitely not one that you would take a crossover SUV or full-size pickup truck down. A modified truck or SUV with low range 4 wheel drive and high ground clearance is needed. There were definitely a few moments on the trail where I was a little unnerved but was able to clear the obstacles with no problem period after watching some of the videos online of people doing this Trail I was expecting to have some scrapes and dents on my truck. This is the MOST amazing trail in Moab for boys and their toys. I have never seen anything more amazing in my life. Sections of the trail is called Hell’s Gate, the Escalator and Tip Over. OMG!!!!! The month of April, May, September and October offers perfect weather: not too hot, not too cold, and lots of clouds. I like this trail more than Kokopelli, Top of the World, Gemini Bridge, and yes I do dare say I like this trail more than Shafer’s trail. I have come to Moab every year since 2007.
