You should come here just for the drive from Frisco — it’s absolutely stunning VIEWS and worth the road trip on its own.
Now, don’t get your hopes too high about the hot springs themselves. As spring kicks in, the pools start to smell, and yes — I saw a little snake in one (hopefully not venomous). The whole place has a slightly cryptic, wild vibe.
Some of the pools were actually boiling hot, and if it’s warm outside too, you’ll feel like soup being slowly simmered.

Read moreI would not recommend this place to stay overnight. The rooms are nothing what the website shows. They are very old, rusty, and noisy. When they say the trains are loud, they are. They come thru blowing their horns every 2 hours😲 Not much sleep for a Spa setting. They also aren't keeping up with the pool area, the windows were dirty and they need to paint. Oh yeah, when they said the town has a place for food ,that's a joke. There's a little sandwich stand that was not open and a little gas station with hardly anything .
