Inspiration Point is one of the viewpoints along the Scenic Drive in Bryce Canyon National Park. Situated shortly after the turnoff east towards Bryce Viewpoint.

The Inspiration point provides a east and northeast view into the Bryce Amphitheatre. While less impressive than what you will see at the next stop - Bryce Viewpoint, Inspiration Point is still very much making time, even if for just few minutes. From here you are very near impressive stacks of hoodoo structures and can see deeply into the amphitheatre. The views are very attractive.

Note: There is a Shuttle bus stop at Inspiration Point for those who are not planning to drive their own vehicle. Further, the Rim trail start/stops at Bryce Point if you are interested in walking the Rim Trial to/from the Lodge area, passing by Inspiration along the way.

In the end, we liked the close up view of the hoodoo stacks facing north and northeast from the Inspiration Viewpoint. Some fine colour displays were seen at the time of our visit, making for some nice photographs.

Note: If you want to visit all of the viewpoints along the Scenic Drive, it is best to start from south to north. As such, drive all the way o Rainbow and Yavimpa Points, then make your way back north, pulling over to the right hand side when you approach a viewpoint which strikes...

We visited Inspiration Point in Bryce Canyon National Park in the afternoon, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The vibrant colors of the hoodoos against the clear blue sky were truly stunning, making it one of the most memorable spots in the park. The elevated vantage point gave us a sweeping panorama of the amphitheater, showcasing the intricate rock formations in all their glory.

In terms of accessibility, Inspiration Point is fairly easy to reach. There’s a parking lot nearby, and the walk to the viewpoint is short, although it does involve a slight uphill climb.

Inspiration Point was definitely a highlight, and for us, it ranks as the second-best viewpoint in the park, right after Bryce Point. The afternoon light was perfect for photography, with the sun casting dramatic shadows on the rock formations. If you're visiting Bryce Canyon, this is a spot you can't miss! The peacefulness and the jaw-dropping scenery make it well...

We visited Bryce Canyon on July 4th and were pleasantly surprised that the park was not overly crowded, even on a holiday. The views were absolutely spectacular—this was our first time visiting, and it certainly lived up to expectations.

For my wife and daughter, the experience was especially meaningful, as they are descendants of Ebenezer Bryce, the canyon’s namesake. That connection added a personal and memorable dimension to the trip.

We hiked from Inspiration Point to Bryce Point and found the trail had a bit more of a roller-coaster feel than expected, with several elevation changes along the way. Still, it was a beautiful day and a stunning hike—well...

I love Utah during the winter because the weather is a lot cooler! If you enjoy solitude, the crowds are fairly minimal too. This is based off a home base near Capitol Reef (specifically, stops along State Route 24). 1. Start your day watching the sunrise at an amazing overlook, like this one in Hanksville. With a quick Google search, you will be able to find the coordinates and things to know about this area 🤍✨ 2. Head west on SR 24, and you will pass badlands that are worth making a pit stop for – like this “trail” in Caineville. It is under 2 miles, and feels like a random stop on the side of the highway, but @alltrails / BLM lists this as a trail. Utah is full of badlands and neat areas to explore. I love to use Google Earth to find new spots. 3. If you’re up for more “hiking” , head to Capitol Reef National Park. Cassidy Arch is a beautiful and short hike (~3.5 miles), that I loved! 4. Camp! There’s plenty of camping areas in Utah. Instead of dispersed camping on this trip, we decided to book a site at Escalante Petrified Forest State Park! Day 2: 1. Watch sunrise at Inspiration, Sunrise, or Sunset Point @brycecanyonnps_gov All 3 viewpoints are amazing, but I loved Inspiration Point for an amazing view of the Amphitheater 2. Hike Navajo Loop (~2 miles roundtrip) This can be combined with Peekaboo Loop (5 miles total) or Queens Garden (3 miles total) 3. Head to @zionnps hike Observation point @zionnps 4. Camp near Zion! Day 3: 1. hike Angels Landing @zionnps (permits required after April 1) or go for a quick hike to Canyon Overlook! 2. lunch at Oscars in Springdale 🤍 Make sure to plan ahead, as it does snow in southern Utah! These rocks can become very slick (I’ve had a few tumbles in Bryce Canyon), so just be careful! . . . #Hiketok #hikers #hikingbabes #hikebabe #adventuremore #adventuretok #adventurelife #hikinglife #hikeutah #hikemontana #hikewashington #pnwlife #exploremore #hikemore #hikingaz #azhiker #azhikes #hikingtips #hikinghacks #campingtips #camptips #camping #campersoftiktok #campingtips
