Millsite Campground exceeded expectations from the moment of arrival. The facility offers paved, level sites equipped with water and electrical 20,30 50 amp hookups. A convenient dump station and a drinking water station are available for those who are boondocking. The campground features clean restrooms and showers, as well as a lovely shallow beach area suitable for kayaking, paddle boarding, or young children playing in the water. The nearby dock and numerous off-road trails for ATVs further enhance the experience. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the restrooms are well-maintained. Overall, Millsite Campground provides an excellent camping experience. The millsite golf course nearby adds a beautiful touch. We are definitely putting this place on rotation especially being less than 3 hours from Salt lake City.

What a beautiful state park. Huge lake and kayak all day for $30. Nice baths and restrooms. And the golf course is amazing. Green courses meandering among the huge tall bolders of the area. This area is known for its abundance of native America petroglyphs and pictographs. That is why I was here. Near to hwy through San Rafael Swell. Most beautiful drive you will see on hwy 70. Museum nearby in town of Castle Dale. Some of most amazing finds of native american items. Dont miss the famous native american pictograph site" The Rochester Panel!"

Most memorable stay ever! My Aunt use to be the Park Ranger here. Being from the area, I never stayed at the lake. Unfortunately, when my Aunt passed; I wasn't able to attend. That next spring, I went home. The picture included, is unedited. It's exactly the way my Aunt wanted me to see it and experience her love for Millsite. Beauty surrounds the area. Bring your boat, lounge by the water, camp out. Enjoy the beauty ❤

We spent a weekend at Millsite Reservoir located in Ferron, Utah. The campground was very nice. And very well maintained. There was a beautiful golf course just before the camp ground. Beautiful green among the red rock background. Though I am not a golfer, it would certainly appeal to anyone. The reservoir was popular for boaters but the water level had been lowered and the beach area was very rocky and compacted. During our visit we took a drive farther up Ferron Canyon. At the top you could see down to the Reservoir and there were several small lakes to fish at. It was breathtaking at the top. On a day trip we went to check out the nearby Rochester Art Panel. A...

My whole family absolutely loves Millsite!! Beautiful beach around the reservoir and the campsites are close enough that you can let the kids go swim and still keep a close eye on them. Some of the most friendly staff I've met at a state park. We look forward to our 1 week long trip to the park every year. I assure you there is plenty to do to avoid boredom. They rent paddle boards and canoes, great fishing all around, amazing and really scenic four wheeler and ATV trails. Love love love Millsite and all the friendly people we...
