Dislike: Hard to find, even with Google maps. GPS took us to the Sundance spa, and the front desk staff was able to help us find our way (can’t remember the directions now, though). I wish it was easier to find. Lastly, you’re not supposed to walk on the skiing indents, but with clunky snow shoes and the way the snow shoeing trail is designed to go, it was near impossible not to step on them.

Likes: Nice paper maps and info about the area to read if desired. The yurt is warm and the employees there are very helpful. We brought our own hear, so no input on renting equipment from them. Also liked how long the trail was for snow shoes and the red ribbons and reflectors tied to trees to help you know where to go. Would’ve like more...

Beautiful views and plenty of trails to explore. As out of shape beginners, we found the hilly terrain difficult at first but we hit our stride and really enjoyed how fun the ups and downs are actually. We really enjoyed Lena's Loop (recommended to us by our class instructor) and its gorgeous view of Mt Timpanogos. After reaching the peak of this trail, you get to coast down a nice long downhill stretch as payoff for the hike up :) Inside the rental yurt, I witnessed a friendly staff member helping a man troubleshoot a problem he was having with his old Nordic skis. The main complaint was we didn't receive a map and wished the trails were more clearly marked which way to go, and how long the loops are...

Let me start off by saying I truly truly love snowboarding here. I even have a season pass. We had an altercation that made me question their customer service. My husband had to use my coat one evening (I was not there). I did not realize he had my pass still in there and they made him pay fees and my pass was suspended. He is a paying season ticket holder, and it was a simple mistake and mix-up with the coats. It was evident that their customer...

Be aware that driving here when it is snowing will potentially require 4 wheel drive and chains. The last bit to get to this place is windy and a one car road with some pullouts. This is a very friendly and great Nordic ski place. Within the mountains the trails are sometimes hilly which can be hard for beginners. The group lessons are great and I really appreciated the help and attention to detail. They are super friendly and I’m looking forward to coming back!
