Had a problem with a ski binding, went to the rental shop at the bottoms of Jacks and asked for help or if the man working could just give me some advice on fixing it. He told us that if he touched my ski or told me how to do it he was going to have to charge me $20. So I sat there with the complimentary tools unscrewing and then screwing screws back in trying to fix my problem for over 30 minutes. Tried looking it up on the internet but service wasn’t good, meanwhile this worker is just sitting there watching me struggle to fix it. But he couldn’t help because then he’d have to charge me! Mind you not a single person is in trying to be helped, just me and my brother trying to figure it out and two workers watching us struggle. Finally after figuring it out the worker goes I knew you’d figure it out! Rude and disappointing that a man working at a ski rental shop couldn’t just be a good person and help me. I understand if a bunch of people are there needing rentals or to be assisted, but no just me struggling for over 30 minutes. Have had other negative experiences with employees as well. Disappointed that I bought a season pass here, won’t...

Shady business…

I came up to enjoy a nice bluebird day on the mountain. When I pulled up to the booth at the entrance, the girl working told me that I did not have to pay for parking since their “main lift” (outlaw) was temporarily closed. She told me to park up top in lot C. So I did just that. The weather was beautiful and I had a nice day on the mountain, but disappointingly when I returned to my vehicle to leave for the day, I found a parking citation on my windshield. I now have to pay a MUCH larger fee than I would’ve paid to park, which I would’ve been happy to pay in the first place but I was told I did not have to. I don’t know if there was poor communication between the employees or if this is a tactic by the company themselves to rake in more money, but I am extremely frustrated and overall disappointed. This could’ve easily been avoided had the girl not told me I did not have to pay.

Tip: ALWAYS pay for parking even if they tell you not to and act like they are hooking you up. You will be penalized...

Been skiing here since 1985 and it seems this is the year Sundance is going the way of Vail Corp. came out to a $75 ticket for parking where we always do. Called to ask if the parking rules changed this year and was told they hadn’t. Then asked why I got a ticket…”Oh well for this week only there’s a fee to park.” No signs announcing this. No email to season ticket holders announcing this. And then the kicker…”And we don’t handle the parking. So if you have questions or want to fight it you have to go to the website of our third party and work it out with them.”

Sundance has become another resort that outsources customer...

Sundance Ski Resort is an absolute gem! The scenic views, well-groomed runs, and laid-back vibe make it one of the best places to ski in Utah. It’s smaller than some of the big resorts, but that’s part of its charm—fewer crowds, shorter lift lines, and a more intimate mountain experience. The terrain has a good mix for all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers, and the night skiing is a great bonus. Plus, the resort’s rustic, artsy atmosphere adds to the overall experience. Lift tickets can be pricey, but the quality of skiing and the breathtaking scenery make it well worth it!

Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes, this ski resort is a haven for nature lovers. The pristine beauty surrounding the resort creates an awe-inspiring backdrop for an unforgettable skiing experience. The snow quality is exceptional, offering a dreamlike canvas for both beginners and seasoned skiers. The well-maintained mountain lifts and runs provide seamless access to the exhilarating slopes, making each descent a thrilling adventure. This resort truly captures the essence of winter wonder, blending natural splendor with an exhilarating skiing terrain.

Love skiing here! The people who work here are top notch! They all are very knowledgeable about skiing and snowboarding, and all the ins and outs of the sport. Very safe place and so many trails to do. My kids love coming here, too. Posting pics of the lunch we had at the lodge. A little pricey but what else is new. Good chicken sandwich and they have gluten free bread that's good!
