Palisade River Ranch — Attraction in Four Corners States

My friend and I had an extremely negative experience at this venue. While floating the Colorado River, we exited at this location where other people were standing and playing in the water. Believing it was okay, we got out, called for our ride, and began loading up our things.

When our ride arrived, they saw private property signs but also a “guests this way” sign, which they followed. The guests playing in the water even told them to take that road in. As soon as we loaded our belongings, a man in a truck drove up, blocked us in, and immediately began yelling that we were on private property.

I apologized multiple times for the misunderstanding, but he refused to listen—cutting me off with “I don’t care what you have to say. I am sick of people like you.” He even asked us if we “wanted to fight.” What should have been a calm clarification turned into an unnecessary, hostile confrontation.

There were no signs along the river indicating this was private property, and everything about the entrance signage suggested our ride was going the right way. This was a simple misunderstanding that was handled with aggression instead of courtesy.

It’s unfortunate, because the facility itself is beautiful, but the disrespect and hostility we experienced completely overshadowed that. Respect goes both ways, and this interaction left us with a very negative impression...

The most amazing wedding venue you will ever see, we really didn't need any decorations the view and setting did all the work for us. Cameron and Jen were such a delight to work with and went above and beyond to accommodate and work with us even in these troubled times, we really can't say enough nice things about them and their beautiful home. The guest houses are immaculate and charming with their own unique personalities, so even you just need a great central place to stay in the greatest town on the western slope this...

This was the most amazing back drop for a wedding and relaxing wedding weekend. Cameron and family were warm and welcoming hosts and made sure all or our needs were addressed.
