We were looking for a way to escape the heat and found Green Barn Fruit Co’s phone number on a quick google search. Katie answered the phone and was very inviting. We picked our own peaches. As first timers, the attendant advised us on what to look for and to choose a variety of ripe and not so ripe peaches so we could transport them on the two day road trip back home without spoiling. We were also allowed to sample one ripe peach as we picked. Palisade peaches are just the best!!! This was a great little stop!! We were greeted by an employee who asked us about how many peaches we wanted to pick and then gave us the appropriate buckets. She then walked us into the orchard and showed us which trees had the best fruit/what to look for. We had such a fun afternoon picking our own peaches! We picked up some honey in the store as well!
