Definitely a highlight of any trip to Bryce and red rock country. Great place to take some pictures but at the pull out there is a plaque discussing Robert Leroy Parker aka Butch Cassidy who I was told I'm related to. Folks around here thought of him as an outlaw but a generous one at that. One such story is referenced on the plaque where the debt collector was coming to a gentleman's farm to either get a payment or they would take his farm back. Butch gave the farmer the money to pay off the farm and rode off with some members of the Wild Bunch. The debt collector was shocked when the farmer paid him the remainder of what was owed on the property, but even more shocked when he was robbed just down the trail by some wild looking masked bandits. Oh the stories those beautiful red rocks could tell of our rich and wild history in the Great state of Utah. I sure wish it was that easy to pay off...

The two Red Canyon Arches, located along UT-12 near Panguitch, Utah, is a landmark that offers visitors a glimpse into the region’s stunning red rock formations. The arches are easily accessible, as the highway passes directly beneath it, making it a great stop for travelers en route to Bryce Canyon National Park.

The arches are a great spot for pictures and video and many are shared on social media. The nearby Red Canyon Visitor Center offers helpful information and clean facilities, enhancing the overall experience. The visitor center is closed in the winter.

Overall, Red Canyon Arch is a must-see for anyone traveling through southern Utah, offering a serene and picturesque alternative to some other sites. However, during tourist season it does get crowded so be careful and slow down and be on the look out. Many people like to take pictures in the...

Red Canyon Arch is a beautiful and iconic spot just north of Bryce Canyon National Park, right along Scenic Byway 12. Driving through the arch carved into the vivid red rock is quite fun. The views around the arch are stunning, showcasing the classic red rock landscape that southern Utah is famous for. It’s a great little preview of what’s to come if you’re heading toward Bryce Canyon. There are also some nearby trails in Red Canyon that are worth checking out if you have time, less crowded than the main park but still...

Iconic photo opertunity for all the gear heads out there. This arch offers the perfect backdrop for a drive-by and video. This arch is used in a lot of classic car photos for the area. The red rock canyon visitor center has the history of the arch as well as some great vintage posters. Just make sure you put the sun to your back for that amazing shot.
