We drove through here during our most recent tour of Utah’s incredible National Parks. We drove through during a summer evening so the red hues were that much more enhanced by the setting sun.

Read moreI mountain biked this trail. I think if you were hiking there are better choices in the area, mainly in the park itself. It is a beautiful place to mountain bike and the views from the top are wonderful. I have 2 issues. First the trails werent designed for bikes, you can just tell. The second is they allow horses. Read moreRed Canyon is on the west side of the plateau that has Bryce on its east. Red Canyon is very scenic with many formations such as you find in Bryce, but by comparison it is very little used. If you are coming to the area on a day trip from the west side, you'll save about 45 minutes hiking around here instead of Bryce, and avoid crowds.
