OK, where do we start? Came here on October 5. The server first of all was not very welcoming and questioned my friend who just wanted to have a small taste of a wine before committing to a full pour. It was my birthday and although many patrons wished me a happy birthday the woman working was very snarky and rude to us. I asked for a taste of a different fifth wine instead of the dessert wine and it was declined because they only have ‘two cases left.’ Really you can’t pour a one oz taste? Btw the pours were very stingy compared to the day before. When we moved outside to get cool air and sat at a table, we were immediately asked to leave that table because a larger party was coming. We tried to build rapport with the server and asked her to take a group photo of us and she ignored us the first time and we asked again she unenthusiastically took our photo. We only visited this winery because the day before the guy who was working, gave such great service that we decided to go back. I will add that we visited two other wineries after that one and received a bonus pour at Carboy because it was my birthday and at La Maison we got free tiramisu. I don’t expect this, but it was nice to feel welcomed all right instead of like we were an...

The Blue Beryl is one of Palisade's newest wineries, and already one of their very best. They are part of an elite few in town that offer an amazing tasting experience AND make delicious wine. Trust me, it is usually only one or the other (or neither) here in Colorado's wine making mecca. This mother-daughter team just get it, as proven by their pristine and gorgeously curated tasting room that impressively show off this spaces' two main assets; the owner's beautiful artwork and awe-inspiring views of Mount Garfield.

The wine made here is easily above par in taste and quality for the area, with the added bonus of offering interesting varietals not commonly found here in town. Whether you come for a full tasting or to enjoy a glass on one of the very best patios you will find in Palisade; you will be served with genuine kindness and provided with passionate knowledge. The summer promises to be full of fun events and pairing dinners here as well. All of this is more than enough reason to keep me coming back often to try new vintages or a glass of a past favorite, all while soaking in one of the very best views the grand valley...

Had a wonderful afternoon at The Blue Beryl Winery with my family. Laura was absolutely wonderful. She did a great job explaining the different wines that were part of tasting, as well as giving an awesome history lesson on the winery itself. She was also incredibly sweet to my 2 young children.

Blue Beryl is a mother/daughter owned boutique winery, with a rich family history behind it. The daughter is an amazing artist who paints/designs the artwork on all of the labels. The winery itself was at one point their family home, with some pretty special pieces of the home incorporated into the design of the updated building.

The interior is really beautiful/modern. You can tell a lot of heart was put into its design. The outdoor area is beautiful as well, with awesome views of Mt Garfield.

Oh, and the most important part…the wine. It was fantastic. We enjoyed each of the 6 wines included in the tasting. There were some very unique and delicious pours that we really enjoyed.

Thanks for a great experience!

This place has 5 stars for a reason. First of all, the wine was top notch and unique- we bought more bottles than any other winery we visited on our trip. The service was wonderful- Michael was so attentive and passionate about the wine. The actual space was just beautiful, modern, cozy, with cool art. And dog friendly! Can’t wait to come back. Thanks guys.
