Nice drive out to this little town of Twin Lakes Colorado. The recreational area is where it's all at. Paved and level roads with easy places to park. You can walk for what seems like miles on terrain that feels like you're on another planet. Truly gorgeous and like something off a postcard. I'm glad we got to experience this site on a warm day in early September before the winter hit and made for a totally different experience! We cheated and let our dogs off leash when a great distance away from other people and they had a blast too!
