Fall Colors in Colorado: A Mini Travel Diary from Aspen 🍂📸

Just came back from a dreamy autumn escape to Aspen, Colorado — and wow, the fall foliage did not disappoint! 🍁✨ These photos were taken on Sept 28 and 29, and the leaves were at their peak golden glory 😍💛. The landscapes were breathtaking almost everywhere — and I’d say there’s still some color left to see this coming week. By mid-October, though, it might be past prime. One of my favorite shotswas taken at Twin Lakes — such a peaceful and photogenic spot 🏞️📲. The drive from Twin Lakes to Aspen is dotted with plenty of pull-off points where you can safely stop and snap some gorgeous photos 🚗🍂. Once in Aspen, I took the gondola up to the mountain top — the views from above are absolutely unreal! 🚠🏔️ You can see endless rolling hills dressed in gold and fiery orange. I also spent a night in Snowmass — and if you get a clear night, don’t forget to look up! The starry sky there is magical 🌌✨. Food-wise, I tried Little Ollie’s Aspen — a decent meal but pretty pricey 💸👀. Portions weren’t huge, and what really caught me off guard was that the bill automatically included a 20% tip 🧾⚡. I almost double-tipped before noticing! I ended up talking to the staff and adjusted it to around 17% — always check your bill, folks!
