Fall Colors in Colorado: A Mini Travel Diary from Aspen ππΈ
Just came back from a dreamy autumn escape to Aspen, Colorado β and wow, the fall foliage did not disappoint! πβ¨ These photos were taken on Sept 28 and 29, and the leaves were at their peak golden glory ππ. The landscapes were breathtaking almost everywhere β and Iβd say thereβs still some color left to see this coming week. By mid-October, though, it might be past prime. One of my favorite shotswas taken at Twin Lakes β such a peaceful and photogenic spot ποΈπ². The drive from Twin Lakes to Aspen is dotted with plenty of pull-off points where you can safely stop and snap some gorgeous photos ππ. Once in Aspen, I took the gondola up to the mountain top β the views from above are absolutely unreal! π ποΈ You can see endless rolling hills dressed in gold and fiery orange. I also spent a night in Snowmass β and if you get a clear night, donβt forget to look up! The starry sky there is magical πβ¨. Food-wise, I tried Little Ollieβs Aspen β a decent meal but pretty pricey πΈπ. Portions werenβt huge, and what really caught me off guard was that the bill automatically included a 20% tip π§Ύβ‘. I almost double-tipped before noticing! I ended up talking to the staff and adjusted it to around 17% β always check your bill, folks! Overall, an amazing fall getaway β highly recommend catching the colors now if you can! π₯Ύπ§‘ #FallInColorado #AspenColors #AutumnVibes #LeafPeeping #TravelDiary #NorthAmericanLife #FallPhotography #ColoradoAdventure #Aspen
