Washington Park — Attraction in Four Corners States

This is my favorite park to go too. It’s very nice on hot days going up the canyon to this park because it’s always a little cooler. It has nice bathrooms with flush toilets. It’s fun that it’s right next to the golf course. It has nice playgrounds for kids. It’s very shady with lots of trees here. My family loves coming to this park a few times every summer and having a BBQ. They have picnic tables, I suggest they add a few more picnic tables because it’s such a big area, they only have 4 picnic tables. There is enough room to add at least 2-3 more. We came up here for a Wedding Rehearsal dinner, nice venue but it was cold and rainy for the most part. Our families used to come up here occasionally for picnics, a lot of good times as a kid fishing in the stream down the hill and to the north of the covered gazebo picnic areas. Really amazing and lovely park, but they disallow dogs and it's "reservation only". Why bother having a park if you only let rich people use it? The reservations are ridiculously expensive (86$), especially if you just want to be there for a little bit to enjoy the mountain air. Just another example of...
