First camping experience ever! Loved the campsite being so close to the edge. No amenities like running water or electricity hooks ups but that's part of primitive camping! There is a communal single bathroom for all the campsites to use. I definitely recommend taking lots of water for drinking and washing. Nights gets really cool so take plenty of covers or good sleeping bags to stay warm. There is definitely breathtaking views morning and night. The last 4 miles were 30 mph. All good. Flat desert and suddenly you're at the canyon rim view point. Fantastic! A mile to the left is The Wedge overlook that is even better. Don't miss it. To the right is a poor road with Dispersed camping. Hiking or cycling along the rim either direction is great fun. Each viewpoint has an outhouse close by. We'll drive out via The Swinging...
