We were unable to hike the Weeping Rock Trail, since it was closed due to weather so this will be about a place nearby. However, we discovered a small secret waterfall, which is not listed on any of the Zion Park maps, but is listed on a topo map, called Menu Falls. This was named after the cover photo on the food menu of the falls, which was used for years by the Zion Lodge dining facility. It is located on the east side of the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive past the Big Bend parking lot but approximately 0.5 miles from the Temple of Sinawava parking lot. There is a small, paved pullout on the west side of the road, directly across from the waterfalls. From the road pullout, the falls are approximately 125 feet away and the park service has built several viewing platforms near the falls. Be advised, when the shuttle service is running there is no bus stop at the falls and the nearest one will be the Temple of Sinawava shuttle bus stop. Reminded us of being in Galway, Ireland.

The Weeping Rock Trailhead in Zion National Park leads to a short but rewarding hike that culminates at Weeping Rock. The trail is approximately 0.4 miles round trip and is known for its unique destination—a rock alcove where water seeps out, creating a "weeping" effect. The hanging gardens surrounding the rock add to the picturesque scenery. The trail is relatively easy, making it accessible for a wide range of visitors. It's a popular stop in the park due to its beauty and the opportunity to experience the natural dripping springs. Keep in mind that conditions may vary, and it's always advisable to check for any updates or trail conditions before your visit.

Weeping Rock trailhead just recently opened up again and glad we got to try this hike. Short hike (probably less than a half mile from the bus stop), but it can be kinda steep in some places. The payoff is worth it. Nice cool, dripping water hitting you as you hike up under the overhang. Great views and not too crowded. Quick little hike in Zion, but one I'd definitely recommend.
