Considering paying to âreserveâ a zipline spot? Save your money and an entire days time. I visited on 5/30 and was so excited to be celebrating my birthday by zip lining. Weeks ago we paid online and booked a 2:00 zipline for our group of 4. We arrive at the reservation at 12:00pm and are told at the visitors center to go ahead and hop on shuttle to zipline. RESERVATIONS DO NOT MATTER Its first come first serve HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION - more like ZERO communication as we stood out on the heat in a line outside the zipline building as the cranky lady ripped anyoneâs heads off who tried to enter. They only took groups of 12 at a time with no priority to reservations. Then the closer they got to closing time they told us an hour later after waiting in line that winds were 35mph (lie per the guy on top of the tower talking over the radio with the wind speeds) and we would only be able to do one very short zipline. They literally coral you into this place force you to wait so long that you have to way there $25 per person food option (see pic) Itâs a scamâŠ. Zero refunds, zero discounts and a waste of our entire day. Every single employee was RUDE and treated...

We drove to the site via the entrance in the east as we were traveling from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and had planned a day trip there. Full of anticipation, we queued up to buy the tickets for the five of us. We had read in advance that you have to budget around 50$ per person. The lady at the ticket office then told us that it would cost $100 per person đ± doubled. With this 'All Access Pass', you are taken by bus to two great viewpoints - one with a skywalk and a zipline ride over the canyon is also included in the price đ± How great... Once there, we were simply disappointed đ We stood in a relatively short queue and were immediately pleased to be called for our trip over the canyon đ after about 1 hour, an unfriendly member of staff came out, counted off the people still waiting their turn and said that everyone could go behind it - they then close... at 4pm đ€ź This entrance to the Grand Canyon is just a rip-off. The Hualapai people rip you off endlessly there.
Simply cheating on the...
Read moreAmazing experience! Buy a bundle deal online before your trip and the cost becomes very reasonable. Be aware that you have to specifically request the bus to Hualapai point to get to the zip line, or you can drive to it yourself (it is signposted to zipline on the right before the main carpark). It is not clear from the bus area which one you need so I would advise asking a staff member.
The zip line itself was brilliant, such a great experience and gives incredible views over a section of the canyon.
You get kitted up at the ranch then take a minibus over to the lines (takes 5 mins). There are 2 lines, one leads to the other. The 2nd being higher, longer and faster!
If there are members of your group who want to watch but not go on the lines you can ask one of the staff to take them round on the bus/buggy.
The staff are friendly and respectful and many safety checks are carried out on the...
