Orlando Tree Trek is a fun adventure outside the themeparks but still close to Disney! ⠀ ⠀ We were invited to do the courses and we chose the Kids Course so we could stay together. ⠀ ⠀ Honestly, the Kids Course was still a fun challenge to do together! Of course they have harder courses for adults too! ⠀ Have you been?⠀ ⠀ #orlandotreetrek #kissimmee #kissimmeeflorida #orlandofl #thingstodoinorlando #orlandofl #orlandoflorida

I recently visited Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park, and it was a completely different kind of thrill compared to the usual Orlando theme parks. Set in a beautiful pine forest in Kissimmee, the atmosphere immediately felt refreshing and adventurous, with tall trees, fresh air, and a more natural vibe than the bustling theme parks. The experience started with a safety briefing and a short demo course, which helped me feel comfortable with the harnesses, clips, and ropes before heading up into the trees. The staff were very thorough and reassuring, which gave me confidence before tackling the real challenges. The adventure courses are designed in levels, starting from easy and gradually building up to the pro level, with each one getting higher and more demanding. The first course was fun and manageable, with swinging bridges, nets, and wobbly logs that gave just the right amount of excitement without being overwhelming. As I moved up, the obstacles became more intense and the platforms climbed higher into the treetops. By the time I reached the advanced courses, the challenges required real focus, balance, and strength. The zip lines were definitely a highlight — fast, exhilarating, and offering incredible views of the forest from above. What I loved most was the way the park allowed you to push yourself at your own pace. If you just want a light adventure, you can stick to the lower levels, but if you’re up for a serious test, the higher courses definitely deliver. The whole experience was exciting, physically engaging, and left me with a real sense of accomplishment. It’s also far less crowded than a theme park, and spending time in nature made it even more enjoyable. That said, it’s worth noting that this place is not for everyone. If you’re afraid of heights, the higher courses can feel intimidating and might not be enjoyable. The activities also require a decent amount of physical strength, especially in your arms and grip, so it can be challenging if you’re not used to this kind of workout. Weather can also play a role, as rain may make the obstacles slippery. Overall, Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park is one of the best non-theme park attractions in the area for teens and adults who enjoy adventure and don’t mind heights. It offers a perfect mix of fun, adrenaline, and challenge in a safe and supportive environment. For anyone looking to step away from the usual Orlando attractions and try something truly adventurous, this is an experience I’d highly recommend.

This made for the best date day! My husband and I had so much fun going through all four courses and the zip line. The first two courses were pretty basic, but 3 and 4 were very hard, even for decently in shape adults! We feel wildly accomplished to have made it through all 4. We loved the unique challenges and found the courses very innovative. Would suggest for anyone wanting to tackle challenges together!

I'm almost 29, and I don't perform activities where I exercise a lot, just once or twice a month during spring /summer /fall months in addition to regular house chores during the week. I also don't have kids to tend to, I am a little overweight for my height and age, and I have a desk job. Despite all of this, my brother and I were able to complete all 4 courses. I like a bit of a challenge once in a while. We did take abt 3 hours total to complete the 4 courses plus the last zip line. I have to say, this was an amazing experience. You cannot miss it!

It was our first time ever being at this kind of park, so I have no other park to compare it to. What I can inform you is our experience here. We made a reservation, got there on time to sign the waivers on tablet devices, went to the reception desk to check in, were handed cotton gloves with mid-fingers exposed for free due to the covid - 19 situation (I believe they normally rent gloves for a few bucks), and were offered the add - ons such as the unlimited water ticket. They explained how it worked (at the end of each course /in between courses you get to take water in 8oz bottles) and we decided on getting it just so we wouldn't have to carry bottles around. Glad we did because carrying water bottles around wouldn't have been comfortable and with the heat and exercise, we welcomed each cold water bottle. They have lockers you can rent as well if you prefer not leaving personal belongings in the car. The receptionist was very courteous, friendly and patient.

After checking in we went to another area where the friendly guide waited for the rest of the participants. He asked us all to go to the restroom before heading to the courses since they take a while. They got the equipment on us, we headed to the demo area and the guide explained how the equipment works and the purpose of each. He then demonstrated the use of them on a tiny demo course and had us complete them while he was there so we would ask questions if we had any. After passing the demo, we then headed to the first course. As mentioned earlier, with the unlimited water ticket purchase, you get water in between /after each course. My brother and I were not fast, but we weren't extremely slow either. To record things, I would record him from the back while he was crossing an obstacle and once he got to the end of it he would record me. Also, we only recorded a few, not all, so it didn't cause much delay anyways. You need to focus your strength on certain parts of your body and also focus on the balance of your body. You need motivation and energy to make this more fun (although we didn't start with a lot of energy, it's so much fun you just gain it, or just adrenaline). I loved it! The courses get harder as you go and there are guides below you. Although they may not be visible to you, they are around so you can ask for help at any given time, even if you are mid-way an obstacle. If you are thinking abt it, stop and just do it. You won't regret it.. Your body will ache for the next couple of days if you're like me, but it is so worth it!

Personal suggestions would be: to eat well before heading there. if possible, take your own gloves that cover your entire fingers, but that have excellent grip, so not gloves that would slip from your fingers or hands when moving your hands while holding onto something. wear exercise clothing good for...

I came here on a Saturday morning with my boyfriend and overall, place was a great half day active activity. It took us about 2 hours to get through the demo and then the 4 adult courses. The guide giving the instructions was nice and straight to the point plus they put the adults together on the timeframe which was a nice relief as this is very much a kid/teenager attraction but as a 30 and 35 year old we didn't exactly want to be trapped with children all day. This activity was decently challenging, reasonably priced, and easy to book/understand and is therefore both great for adults and children alike. They also give you gloves which are so helpful throughout the course to prevent any rope burn etc.

The only thing I think needs improvement is the guides' involvement in the course queue. In (I think) 30 minute increments, they allow signup and give demos/get groups started; however, we appeared to be the first group of the day in the early morning and with a group of about 30 people, after the demo, they allow you to either get started or do some testing, all at once. This leads to too much of stall in individual/group pace. We opted to start immediately but got stuck behind a group of 4 girls that also chose to do so though they did not understand the clipping/etc. and were more focused on video and instagramming every single thing that, as the first group, led to a big delay and backlog lineup. Stalling behind these insta-models with a build-up gathering behind and NO ONE in front nearly ruined our experience. Yes, the guides mentioned it's fine to pass other people, but with a group of 4 this wasn't an easy feat. The girls would not continue the courses and wait for the rest to finish before moving on. Its sad that the girls were very much too self-centered or oblivious to notice the growing line-up of irritated adults behind them but I also think it was irresponsible of the guides to also allow that or not notice... finally at the end of the first course I spoke up to move ahead awkwardly and it turned the experience around. To put it into perspective, we ended up 2 FULL courses ahead of them after that and heard the irritation from others.

I realize photos and posts are great advertisement for the place, but still, I think the facility can better manage the delays and negative experience that comes from irresponsible inconsiderate 'adults' that cant put a phone down and enjoy the course. The guides can be more observing and politely step in. Or, I think they can better spread the lineup by teaching groups in smaller, more staggered increments, or with two starting courses to pick from.

God bless the folks that see those girls posts and just how...

I went to Orlando Tree Trek with my wife and 2 daughters (age 15 & 13) on 7/18/20. We signed up for the 8:00 am slot so that it wasn't too hot (but come on, it's FL in July!) and so we could get the max discount. You can leave everything in your car (they will hold onto your car keys) or you can get a locker. Bottom line, although it was tiring, we definitely enjoyed ourselves!

It starts with a demo course where they explain how everything works and the "games" are very easy and only about 4 ft up. This gives you a chance to practice attaching and moving the safety clips from the cables. It also gave my one daughter a chance to get used to heights a little more gradually since she is afraid of heights. We completed the first course with relative ease but definitely needed some water at the end. My one daughter who is afraid of heights did pretty well and was considering doing the second course as well. Ultimately she decided to stop at that point but my wife, other daughter and I kept going. Definitely more tiring than the first course and my wife and daughter stopped after the second course. Because of a bit of a line and hold-up on the third course, the guide told me I could skip to the fourth course (this probably also had to do with my ability to complete the "games" reasonably well, they do monitor you and if he felt I shouldn't skip it then he would not have let me skip...btw, I'm not super skilled and I'm only moderately in shape). I went on the fourth course but there were definitely a few obstacles/"games" that were challenging. Regardless of where you stop the courses, you are still allowed to do the big zip line on it's own, it's completely separate from the other courses. Also, they have a smaller course for younger kids that looked very similar, just lower to the ground and smaller overall obstacles.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Orlando Tree Trek as a fun, challenging, and enjoyable outdoor activity. A few recommendations: Consider bringing your own work/work-out gloves as opposed to getting the cloth ones from them. Definitely either bring water of your own or purchase their unlimited water plan ($4 per person and they keep it in coolers between the different courses). Spray down with bug spray!! We forgot to do this and the mosquitoes were happy. Lol! Sign up for the earliest time slots you can. The discount was worth it and the temperature/humidity was as good as it was going to get. Maybe consider going in the winter or spring months.

Again, we totally enjoyed it and are planning to go back...
