Not a real pumpkin to be seen... If that okay with you, you do you. Let's start with what was good or even great. Lots of parking, and it's free! There's a great kids ride area (little kids) Ferris wheel merry-go-round things like that. They have what looks to be a nice sit down restaurant. If your group is more than 4, make a reservation!. Behind the restaurant there's a large open area the "beer garden". There's a fire pit and s'mores and pumpkin painting. It really is a nice area for the family for kids of all ages for pumpkin lovers and to be fair picnic tables, etc.. It's the only place here at Skylands where you'll find actual pumpkins. The ballpark concession is open for hotdogs, chicken fingers, burgers, you know ball park fare. Out in the "Beer Garden" It's cash only with no shortage of draft beers, canned beer and premixed drinks. We had a party of eight and everyone was able to find something they would eat and/or drink. The night we went there was live music and all in all it was a nice experience and it looked like the kids were having a great time and to be fair five dollars for a four pack of s'mores seems like a real value.

Now the jack-o'-lantern walk-through I'm convinced there was not one actual carved pumpkin in the entire walk-through. They were fake plastic concocted things. That was disappointing. However, the corn maze may have made the whole thing worthwhile. The maze (in the dark) ends in a faux grave yard. We guessed all those who never made it out. LOL... The walk-through ends of the petting zoo. And you're back to the beer garden and fire pit to warm up and maybe one more roasted marshmallow before the ride home. If you have little kids, this looks like a great place. The fire was warm and the beer was cold and the food was well ballpark. If you're looking for real jack-o'-lanterns, you know hand carved pumpkins, I couldn't...

Went for the Jack O Lantern show on a Saturday evening.

Large parking lot with lots of spaces.

Doors open promptly at 6pm. You will NOT be let in if you arrive earlier.

The walk-through start time was delayed a bit as they wanted to wait for it to get darker before starting...so those who purchased tickets for 6:00, 6:15 and 6:30 had to wait until about 6:40-45 until they began to let people in. The massive crowd gathered at the gate at around 6:35 dwindled down very quickly once they started to let people in.

The walk itself took about 25 minutes...this is with stopping to take photos.

The crowds were very manageable. It was never a issue where there was a backup or disruption of the flow of traffic throughout the walk...so kudos to them for limiting the reservations for each time slot.

I do think the overall price of $24 per person was slightly higher for the walk-through experience. I would think $15ish would have been more appropriate.

One thing to keep in mind that their FAQS state that not carvings are real pumpkins...this became pretty clear as you walk throughout the tour and get an idea of which ones were not real. Not a big deal...but does take away from the "wow" factor of the actual carved pumpkins.

I do have to say that the surrounding attractions were a nice bonus. There was live music, a large tented seating area and multiple food vendor selling beer, smores, nachos, pizza, hot dogs and other items. These vendors were very reasonably priced in my opinion. Given this "bonus" I didn't mind the price of the walklthrough.

Lots of photo ops as expected.

All staff we encountered...

Sklyands Stadium is a nice baseball stadium located in Sussex County, NJ. The stadium is home to the Sussex County Miners of the Frontier League. Capacity for the stadium for a baseball game is 4,200. The stadium has excellent sightlines to the field from the seats. There really is not a bad seat in the stadium. Most of the seats have chairbacks. The last few seats along the left and right field lines are wooden bleachers. The only negative to be reported about the seats is that those that in the sun during day games really burn and are hot. If you're going to a day game here it is best to sit up higher where is there is a roof that shades the seats. Concessions in the stadium are excellent. As far as stadium prices go, they have cheaper prices here than most others. A variety of national and local craft beers are served. They also have Yuengling and Hood ice cream. The Barnyard, a popular local restaurant also has a location here. Down the left and right field lines are pavilions where you can watch the game and enjoy the game and your food. The team has a nice team merchandise shop located near the front of the stadium. The team does do promotional and entertainment activities between innings here. There are also playgrounds along the left field lines for kids. Parking here is easy. The parking lot is huge and parking is free for baseball. Stadium traffic was not a problem here. Overall, Skylands Stadium delivers an affordable and nice...
