Great for Families—But Not for a Challenge This trail is perfect for families, biking, and dog walking. The landscaping is beautiful, and kids will love spotting butterflies along the open paths. But personally, I was a bit disappointed—I was hoping for a moderate hike, and this one felt more like a leisurely stroll. There’s very little elevation, and it doesn’t compare to the challenge of Sourland Mountain Trail. If you're looking for a scenic, easy outing, this trail delivers. But if you're chasing elevation and endurance, you might want to look elsewhere.

Also known as Griggistown Native Grassland Preserve. Has 6 different trails that is marked. Mostly flat. Part of the 10 Mile Run Greenway. Connects from Bunker Hill Natural Reserve on the Red Trail passing between a neighborhood to the Brown Trail. Multiple trails marked along the way. There is also parking available on a side road on Bunker Hill Road across Forest Ave that connects to the Blue Trail. Great for a leisurely hike, trail running, and wanting a peaceful, quiet activity in nature. A hidden gem.

Great place for a run or easy hike. Trails aren't super long but the area is well-maintained. My dog loves coming here for walks too🙂

a few different trails. there are alot if birdhouse along the meadows trails. seems this is a popular jogging trail. lots of birding and photo opportunities. most trails are marked or the path is mowed so you know where to walk. trails in grasslands and meadow get muddy. there is a small parking lot accommodating around 9 to 10 cars there is a trail map and trail brochures in lot. this spot is good for viewing kestrel. beautiful and...
