Pink Little Cake — Local services in Franklin Township

We highly recommend Kathia and Pink Little Cake! We began working with Kathia about a year before our son's college graduation in Princeton. We shared a photo of a cake we found on etsy but wanted to customize and change it significantly. Kathia shared her design expertise and we came up with a final design. We emailed back and forth and talked on the phone once in the planning process. She was exceptionally responsive and a joy to work with. She's a very kind and conscientious person.

She personally delivered our cake, as discussed, to our restaurant. She is very diligent and responsible about carefully delivering the cake and ensuring that a restaurant doesn't just take it from her and place it in a freezer where it could get damaged/ruined. We had pre-arranged with our restaurant that she would be able to bring the cake to the private room where we were having our dinner party an hour before our event.

When she arrived they would not let her do so and insisted on taking the cake from her at the front reception desk. She called me immediately and let me know she pleaded with them but they wouldn't let her bring the cake to the room. I was so thankful for her call (and very unhappy with the restaurant manager who wouldn't allow her to bring it back). I called the manager and learned the cake was fortunately in perfect shape in the dinner party room.

For others working with a restaurant, we highly recommend being very clear about her delivering the cake to your party room (also get it in writing in your contract). We thought we had been clear but it was not listed in our contract that she could go to the party room.

The cake was spectacular and a major hit of our event! Our son and everyone loved the masterpiece she created. It was also absolutely delicious. Kathia is truly an artist and very talented! I rarely write reviews but I have had such positive experiences with Pink Little Cake that I must!!

I have bought 2 cakes from her for special occasions and they are literally the best cakes I have ever bought, or had in my life—this is truly not an exaggeration. One cake was a lemon cake with raspberry frosting and lemon curd, and the second was a chocolate cake with Oreo butter cream frosting and chocolate mousse. SO SO DIVINE. The cakes were both moist and actually had FLAVOR. All the fillings and frosting were also packed full of flavor. i could eat a cup of mousse on my own!! I bake many cakes at home, and people who do know what I mean when I say a fresh cake from scratch has a specific taste—and these taste exactly like that and are the freshest I have ever had.

Onto the decor—her work was perfect and so professional appearing and artistic. Very smooth and well done!! She is able to capture exactly what I want in my head, but better actually haha. Everyone raved about both the clean designs and the flavor. I’m not exaggerating when I say there was not a single thing I would change about these cakes.

Professionalism: She is one of the most professional businesses I have interacted with! Super pleasant and helpful on the phone. Even when I wasn’t sure I of my design, she was so patient suggesting ideas and even setting up follow up calls to make sure she had a clear understanding of my vision. She is also very responsive and easily accessible!

IN SUMMARY, for any event or birthday or even excuse to indulge in a sugar addiction, I will never use any other baker again. I’m very picky with cakes and these are so fresh, delicious, flavorful (not the stale, sugar overloaded type most bakeries sell), moist, and beautiful, and the owner is so kind and helpful and patient!! Local cake shops run by individuals such as Kathia is a must have for every community. Such a great find by my husband who looked up several places on Google and zeroed in on Pink Little Cake. He planned the details of the cake working with Kathia who owns the shop. Few of my favorites bundled in a cute pink cake that screamed beauty & elegance .

The perfect Yelp logo with the Soup, Noodles & kebabs below , The eclectic High tea setup on top of the cake representing my love for the Royal family & the Brit High tea parties . The fondant creations of the little teapot , macaroons, Yelp logo et all , the selection of colors , perfect balance of sweetness...: , this vanilla bean cake with a vanilla butter cream frosting and a Dulce de leche filing was not just eye candy but an irresistible cake , that it made it hard for everyone to put the fork down .

Kathia worked with so much earnestness in a short period of time , to understand my husbands requirements , bouncing off ideas and design for the cake , working into the weekend through her family challenges to make this custom cake plan a reality for my Birthday . It was one of the best cakes I have had in a while . My family couldn't stop taking about how pretty and tasty the cake was and they would consider ordering their next cake from Pink little Cake. We shared the cake with couple of our fellow diners at dinner who said that they loved the cake better than the dessert from the restaurant !
