Lake Arthur — Attraction in Franklin Township

Park Rangers here are aggressive and meddle.

Have launched a boat at four different ramps in the lake and all four were well Maintained. The lake itself is stained water and weedy most of the year. Be cautious while boating on this lake the water depths are erratic and their is many hidden hazards.

My biggest complaint is the park Rangers. I have yet to fish here without being checked by a Ranger and in my opinion the checks are excessive. Last run in with a Ranger was almost an hour out of my day as I attempted to be polite and friendly while complying to her requests. She checked everything - ID, registration, safety course, trailer hook up, bilge, Live well, and asked what I caught. Even asked to look in my tackle bag.

Boat motor restriction of 20HP is unwarranted...

This place is so amazingly beautiful and peaceful. We went to go fishing and didn't have much luck at first. However, we caught a small catfish, sun fish, and blue gills.
