After a year of gross encounters, I'm officially done with this Walmart (which sucks because it's really close to my house). They have a cart-pusher there who is totally out of control and has no boundaries. He's been inappropriate not only with me but with my best friend, too. He's followed me from aisle to aisle, staring at me while I shop, followed me out to my car, blocked me from getting into my car by standing in front of my car door, talked about how long it's been since he had a girlfriend/had sex, rubbed his crotch while talking to me, continually asked me out even after telling him I have a boyfriend, demanded personal information like my home address and even tried kissing me.
When I got so fed up that I complained to store management, I got lots of pitying looks and the mantra "well, he's disabled - he doesn't mean it" over and over again. That's literally all they'll say about the situation. "He's disabled. He's disabled. It's okay, he's disabled, he doesn't know what he's doing. He doesn't mean it." One particular manager woman seemed offended when I told her I didn't want to be followed to my car and have to kiss a grown, sweaty man I don't know in order to get in my car door. She frowned at me like this was totally unreasonable and said, "he's DISABLED". If he snaps one day and sexually assaults someone, will it be okay because he's "disabled"?
I'll say this: he knows right from wrong, despite what the management will tell you. Before asking for a kiss, he'll look all around him to make sure no one's looking. Before moving in front of my car door, he'll glance over his shoulder a bunch of times. If there's another store employee in the area, he WILL back off of his own accord. While he obviously has a disability in some way (he says he's bipolar and schizophrenic), when he's doing things he shouldn't be doing, he's very wary of getting caught. Now? I have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to another Walmart just to be able to shop without...
Read moreMy husband and I came to this Walmart for the first time today and we absolutely loved the employees that helped us they were very nice however the assistant manager an old man was ridiculously rude! He has no people skills and was condescending. His problem with us was the fact that we had our puppy in the store with no leash. We tried to explain we were there to buy a leash for him and he kept interrupting us ,he was borderline yelling which only made the situation worse for himself he was aggravated and looked like he has anger issues, we are a young looking couple although we are in our early 30s and he talked to us like kids he even threatened to call the authorities when we never yelled or talked back we didn't cuss or anything. His exact words were "pick him up right now! Lets go I'm walking you out! "All I said was "I'm sorry we're here to buy him a leash" and he said "well take him out right now or I'll call the authorities". I was baffled at how he was reacting needless to say we got our dog and walked out leaving the cart we had behind. We have been to hundreds of Walmarts across the u.s and I'm not exaggerating I mean HUNDREDS!! and always take our puppy .Never has anyone told us anything except that they're not allowed on the carts because its a health issue which we totally understand and agree with .my problem is not that they didn't allow our dog it was the way he spoke to us .It is so sad to think that someone like this is IN MANAGEMENT, he has no place leading people when he has no education in customer service ,lacks people and communication skills is condescending and just plain rude!! I feel sorry for the employees. if we weren't christian and trying to be better people he would've gotten an ear full . this was the first and last time at...
Read moreI ordered a product from Walmart.com that was delivered from the store in Clinton, NJ using a delivery service called Spark. Apparently, this is a Walmart brand delivery company. The Spark driver used Google maps and the GPS system sent him to a totally different street than the one that was on my order. Instead of questioning that something seems wrong, the driver left my package at someone else’s house and took a picture of someone else’s door. When I called Walmart, both the store and the 1-800 customer service number, both informed me that the package was delivered and no error had been made, and they refused to send out another driver, or track my package, or refund my money. Basically, they said it was now MY problem.
They had the audacity to blame Google. Google GPS is not infallible, and sometimes does not always work. This is widely known. This is why HUMAN beings with a brain sometimes need to think before doing something that looks questionable. If a package/order has a delivery address on it and Google takes them somewhere else, that driver should either call the contact number given on the order or take the merchandise back to the store for further clarification.
So let this be a warning to anyone ordering online at Walmart. They do not guarantee the accuracy of their delivery service and brainwashed all their employees to make the customer feel guilty about being angry. The low level employees were all super empathetic, but were powerless to help. The managers who do have the power to help had no empathy and continued to push a ridiculous conclusion that they and their deliver driver did nothing wrong.
