Hunan Wok — Restaurant in Franklin Township

I ordered delivery and told the owners son to tell the driver to bring change for a 100. The delivery came with a young kid driver and of course he had no where near enough change to give back. So instead of going back to get change or calling the store to see what to do. He asked me to give my bank info to him... Yea ok... He should have left the food so I could eat after a long day at work and return with the change later because I am a long time customer. Nope he said he has to take the food back with him and come back with the change. So I called the store and spoke with the son. He did not apologize for not telling the driver to bring change nor did he even try to resolve the problem. So I wanted to speak with the owner (his mother) . He told me she is busy and she can’t talk. I don’t mind having your children work for your family business at a very young age but you need to teach them how to take care of long time Customer’s. His final solution was to send the driver back with the same food and change. So now I would have to wait even longer and get cold food delivered . No thank you. Losing customers over stupidity is not good for...

Officially switching solely to Chinese food from Bobo’s kitchen down the street. I’ve eaten both dozens and dozens of times, depending on which one is closer to my errands (even though they’re just 3 minutes away). I’m done with Hunan Wok though. Last time they forgot an item and weren’t helpful about finding a solution, and this time all my food was extremely soggy (from the chicken to the noodles to the fried rice.) they were busy and it felt like it was a few days old. So disappointing - they don’t focus on quality. Also, they sometimes random sell fruit at the counter which is interesting. Note: please don’t compromise on quality during busy times. Customers notice. I wish I could stick to giving this place business because I love Chinese food. The guy who usually helps check everyone out is usually...

This place has the best Chinese food for miles. Period. The Chicken Almond Ding is ridiculous... and rare!!! NO ONE around makes that dish, and it is SO good. In general, the meat that they use is always excellent quality, not too fatty or grisly, which is often my complaint with inexpensive Chinese. This place is a gem.

I don't understand the negative customer service reviews on here. Sure they're brusque, but usually because they're busy; I have never gotten bad service here. I think Americans need to be more understanding of other cultures. Also: try tipping, people. I have been coming to this place for years, and it takes a few times until they open up, but the staff here is very kind and appreciative of your business. I don't go anywhere else...
