I have been going to Gambrill State Park since I was a little girl. Today I took my youngest two,Jonavin 6 and Mickailah 3. It is such a beautiful mountain filled with adventures. I only wish there were more things for them to play on. Dirt,leaves,sticks,rocks lol. My kids used every bit of there imaginations today!!

Very well constructed site that includes a tribute to workers in the Civilian Conservation Corps, with statue and descriptive signage, worth taking the time to read. Impressive views from the overlook. Walking and picnic areas; ample parking.

Always a great place to come for a picnic and/or a hike. Family friendly with some play areas and picnic tables for gatherings. The Frederick overlook view is blocked by the trees but the Middletown overlook as a great view.
