I won't be back.
We went in 2018 with our kids and loved it, great experience. We went again today and had a pretty terrible experience. For $128 for 4 people I expected a little bit of a good time. First off they are understaffed like every other place on the planet - not their fault I get it. But being understaffed they really need to adjust the amount of reservations they are taking at each time slot. They are allowing WAY too many people at each time slot including this random Monday afternoon (Dec 5th). There is no way you can go down more than 4 or so times with the amount of people they allow and staff they have on hand. When we first arrived for our 11:30 reservation they had three people loading and sending people down. After our first ride the one and only medic (I know this because I heard him say he was the only one there) came up and asked the loaders how the lines were. They responded "not bad". Mind you they were already long. So the medic and loaders sent one loader to lunch. Now we have two employees sending people down three lanes, this slowed things down significantly when they were already slow. You ride a magic carpet to the top with your tube typically. Once my husband asked the lifty at the bottom if he could walk on the walkway along side to get some exercise. She said sure, so he walked. The lifty at the top (unloading) smiled at him like no big deal. When he went to walk up a second time an employee that was loading and sending tubes down on the hill proceeded to yell at him and tell him to stop and get back on the magic carpet. My husband was confused based on prior permission given. The tube sending employee said "we'll talk about this when you get up here". Once it was my husband and sons turn the loader brought it up saying walking was unsafe. My husband said that's fine but maybe all employees should get on the same page. I then watched him passive aggressively send them down with no push (they always ask if you want to go fast or spin). Another time at the bottom as we were walking out with our tubes someone told us to "hurry up". We were walking at a normal pace. Super rude and unnecessary. I mentioned all this to the manager as we left. She half heartedly apologized and didn't really seem to care, do anything or offer a solution or anything. Needless to say we won't be tubing here again. The crowds and lines are enough to make me pass. 4 rides in an hour with most time spent waiting, meh no thanks. Better stuff to do in the Breck area. Do not spend...
Read moreWorst customer service I have literally ever ever ever seen. Genuinely kinda hard to exaggerate how cold and rude the people there were to my family and the other families around. Despite talking to 5 employees before reaching the top of the tubing slope, only the VERY LAST employee, the ones that send you down the slopes, managed to ask if we had watched the safety video which none of us had even heard of which is pretty strange considering we talked to 4 different employees along the various steps. So we had to leave our tubes and go watch the video, which kinda sucks because it was 25 minutes into the hour we overpaid for before we got back to the top to do our 1st run of the hour. But the part that sucked the most was that they let half our group down the slope without watching the video. So they went up a 2nd time and got sent back down to watch the video, all of this to say, our group was not back together as one big group until there was 10 min left in our time there…. Paid $40 for an hour of tubing and the way the employees decided to handle the situation cost us almost all of that time. And honestly I get it, gotta make sure you covering yourself on the safety and liability, that’s totally fine, but the UNACCEPTABLE part is when we have to walk up and down the mountain (leaving tubes at the top) to watch the video, which again is not our fault that NO ONE said anything about it, all of the other employees are SCREAMING at us “you can’t walk there!!” “You can’t do that without a tube!!” “Where are you going you can’t do that!!” Just over and over humiliating our family all the way down… then while we watched the video the shifts changed and whole new group of people got to belittle and humiliate us all the way up the magic carpet, how fun...
Read moreThis was my first time tubing and it was a lot of fun! I'm not sure how the normal time frames are but while we were there the end of January 2021, you were allowed 1 hour to tube. Due to the limited amount of people allowed we tubed the hill 7 or 8 times. You could only go into the building to use the restroom. The snack window was open with a few food and drink, alcohol and non-alcoholic, choices. Along the back side of the building that faces the tubing hill were a few chairs, a couple tables and a fireplace. We also went on the horse drawn sleigh ride. This was so peaceful and the scenery absolutely spectacular! We were gone about an hour. We were taken through the woods and at the turn around point we were given a few minutes to walk around and enjoy the guy singing and take pictures. There were 5 sleighs. Everyone was given a warm chocolate chip cookie and a cup of hot chocolate with the option of peppermint schnapps added into the adult's cups. The spiked hot chocolate and cookies were tasty. The guy singing is a great addition to the experience. It was snowing on our way to the half way point which was even more magical. Our sleigh driver, the manager, told us about the horses that led our sleigh and the horses on the other 4 sleighs. She answered all of our questions and it shows she loves her job. All 6 of us would definitely do both of these...
