I love this place. It's a smaller, less intimidating place to learn cross country and I'm always happy about the good mix of people I see each time. All ages, races, sizes, and abilities are present. It's also very international - sometimes I hear 3 or 4 languages in the lodge. If you want to learn to ski, invest in some classes and commit to regular visits for best results! And do not be scared. The instructors have all been laid back and encouraging. Even when I fall over and over, it's a good time. There's also sledding and tubing if you want less strenuous fun. The prices are very reasonable for ski schools. This is my second winter as an XC ski student with FNC. There's no reason for me to "go big" yet. Frisco...

If we ever go back to the area again, we will definitely be visiting the Nordic Center again. We highly recommend the...
Read moreNice little network of trails, took my fat bike and dog on the trails bcuz the rec path doesn’t get groomed often enough. Had a few heated people get mad at me even though there are no signs that say no fat tire bikes (there’s a sign that says please no pets but my dog is more like family than a pet) and the rest of the ppl I saw said hi smiled and liked my dog. The word “please” before no pets would have me believe they are asking nicely, to which I can decline. Also from the parking lot there is no signage that says 1.no bikes 2. No pets 3.that you have to pay. Two stars bcuz nordic centers are lame. Anyone else find it lame? I...
