54 Country is a great family oriented place to go on Saturday nights they have pool, a big nice hard wood dance floor, TV's with sports on most of the time, they have an amazing live band that plays some good ol country music, they have a great variety of snack foods the employees are a hoot, they're honestly more like family than they are employees i love that about 54. It is byob but be mindful dont get to outta control because there are kids and women in the dance hall and they have more security than you can see everyone knows everyone so we all have eachothers back. This establishment has real potential, but unfortunately the younger crowd has turned it into nothing but a line dancing joint. Management does not control or accommodate an environment where experienced couple dancers can enjoy proper eatablished "line of dance" 2 step, waltz, or triple time two step dancing. Went to Bluegrass and BBQ sponsored by the Fulton State Hospital Foundation. First Christian Church was providing the BBQ and the homemade pie. We went after church to eat. They had pulled pork sandwich plates with baked beans and coleslaw so that was my lunch. My husband had the cheeseburger platter. The pork was tender and a generous serving.
