UPDATE: the playground has been torn down. I am hoping that the Town of Fuquay-Varina plans to rebuild and that the new one is more accessible. We've been visiting this park for years. I understand why they replaced the original ground coverage (mulched tires that had been "melted" on top, creating a spongy, even surface. Kids would pick at it and tear it up) but I'm not a huge fan of the loose mulched tires. The tunnel connecting the 1st and 2nd level are currently blocked due to damage.

Honeycutt Park is a great place to take kids to get out extra energy. I live in a nearby neighborhood that is easy to walk to the park. We have been going since the park was built. I have taken my daughters, son, nieces and now my grandson. The town works to keep it clean and neat. We have had a couple of birthday parties there and love the convenience of the pavilion with benches and tables. There is a great field for playing with balls or running games. Overall, we love the park. It is a great place for family gatherings or a sunny...

This is one of our favorite playgrounds in Fuquay.

Not quite as large as Falcon Park but the equipment itself is great and in my opinion the 2nd best in town (behind the awesome and brand spanking new Fleming Loop Park). My two boys love it here.
