Having driven the Skyline drive the previous day, we had experienced the grand views of the Shenandoah Valley and thought we would sample something a little closer to home...we spent the night and got an early start on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia and came home to Hendersonville about 12 hours later with some great pix...the Music Center was having an impromptu(at least for us) event with a group entertaining the visitors with a dash of excellent music!.. We partook of the ambiance as we strolled through the center and enjoyed the concert immensley.immensely.. All in all we drove almost 200 miles of the Parkway to absolutely stunning views along the way..see some pics of our...

This is my favorite place to be even when it's crowded it's so romantic there is always summin new to see really it's cheap pack a lunch fill up with gas I love...
