Beach Pocket Park Number 2 — Attraction in Galveston

This was the bomb! I found out about this spot from a local and haven’t seen many places like it. You can drive your car on the beach. Several different people were camping and grilling out here as well. You can bring your pets if you wish just make sure to bring poop bags because they don’t have them around. The beach was clean and there were several trash cans to dispose of waste. I went on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and there was enough space for me to park my car and set up my tent.There was mostly adults here but I did see a couple of children further down. I always worry about beaches being pet friendly but there was multiple people with their pets so they are definitely welcome here. I definitely recommend visiting ! We really enjoyed this pocket park. It wasn't crowded and everyone was very friendly. We had no problems getting a spot even when we showed up at 1 pm. We liked this beach so much we went to it exclusively. Family friendly, nice restaurant. Nice to have the restaurant and showers there. Restrooms were closed but nice and clean port-a-potties were available. No parking or access fees when we were there during the summer. Parking was plentiful at all hours during the day.
