I was pleased with the product change and growth in products that were much more useful than dollar castle. However, after spending $350 on rugs a week ago and have been a frequent shopper there for weeks. I must say my disappointment after the large run purchase I had made. I did return to get matching small rugs also for the bathrooms an my kitchen. $138 new total!! Not fearful of spending money!! There was a sign attached to shelf stating (scatter rugs additional 20% off) There are coupon signs all over the store. So I take a photo of coupon the cashier stated that is old and not valid! I said well coupon is on the shelf u must honor it. She says we forgot to take it down it was for February so NO!! We keep going back an forth manager/owner whom ever steps in states its not on sale thats that. Cashier says u want or not. Yes, I need the matching rugs to my previous purchase. I buy I leave! I sit in car read the shelf sign an it states nothing about February!!! I go back in an read the sign to them from my phone An fine print states :: Take additional 20% off and limited time while supplies last

Shelfs very well stocked clearly not a February sale and just not wanting to please a customer. I walked to the back he did remove the sign since I was in there only 10 min earlier. I photoed pots an pans same sign so is it also not usable.

After I did swear the f-word not a good choice of word to use I turned an seen 2 children at the register. Immediately I turned an Apologized to the mothers. Remorseful for my choice of words. Ok he told me to leave so yes I left the store.

Moral to the story they pick small orders for discount probably, or pick and choose who can have the discount. All of which are wrong !!! And don't you think if I would of got the 20% off I wouldn't be on here writing this review. Prior to this I spent good money here several times. You would not of lost a customer. I surly will tell my friends and family to consider not shopping there.

I will no longer frequent this store!!! Unsatisfied customer. Upon leaving 2 woman out side had over heard us an they both said you were right sign was there you honor it . Well obviously not!! The old "Dollar Castle" has transformed into an entirely new store.

Not really a "dollar store" anymore, kinda like a mix of Middle Eastern, Indian and whatnot cookware, housewares and foods.

The larger Badia spices are a dollar cheaper than Amazon, so you will want to stock up on those.

Nordic Ware USA made sheet pans were in stock and at good prices.

They also have some giant stew pots in stock if you are having a big event.

Some rather suspect five gallon buckets of "Tide" were displayed. Be careful with those (see pics).

Lots of smaller bags of BBQ charcoal were displayed, but at oddly very high prices (like more money than a much larger bag at Walmart)

They have a slush machine, so the kids will love going here.

I'll never waste my time again. Over priced junk. I found nothing I was looking for and made a special trip to go there. The people working were very nice though- even training a young girl (maybe 10) to use the cash register to check me out. I bought some craft butterflies but went in for a dozen other items that they didn't have. The things I was looking for that they DID have ( plastic stacking storage bins ) were beyond expensive- $38.99 for 2- my only choice. I found what I was looking for at a different dollar store for $3/each. No thanks. I miss the Dollar Castle that used...
