Our Family kayaking Rowlett Creek river adventure was fun, as always. We enjoy greeting the groups of fishermen, the natural flora, observing the animals and fish occasionally jumping out and splashing at the water's surface. We laugh and sing at times, yet also enjoy the peaceful symphony of nature. The creek/river needs a bit of rubbish removal though, moreso on the north of Miller than south side. Interestingly enough though, either dragonflies lead our party or the crane. The crane will stop every 200 ft or so and wait for us, then fly ahead and wait again, as if escorting us safely to the lake or back to the Miller bridge, unharmed from potential danger from copperheads and black wasps. Otherwise, it's a good place to go fishing. You can be under the bridge or under the cover of the trees.

Got out and found fossils, Buffalo teeth, turtle shell, cool rocks. Great place to kayak, but tons of trash.
