Camp Toccoa has so much to offer adults & kids! Whether you want to do a retreat with coworkers, boy/girl scouts, or rehabilitate your precious child. Camp Toccoa hits all areas! The cabins are spacious enough & are grouped close enough for access to electricity, bathroom facilities & a camp fire. Activities include lots of hiking, team building, horseback riding, ropes course, swimming, and beautiful views of natural scenes.

Since my group helped complete Community Service Projects, we got a chance to make a difference in the lives of all the summer travelers who want to have fun. The experience was great & allowed us to see what it takes to keep the facility running successfully. The staff of Camp Toccoa are very friendly & patient with everyone, and they try to accommodate the requests from their guests.

I highly recommend any group utilize this facility for a few days, or volunteer...

It’s always been a dream of mine to come here. Being obsessed with the HBO series Band of Brothers since childhood it was always a bucket list item of mine to come here. It’s a pristine and well kept place. The gift shop and museum is run by volunteers and everything goes to the preservation of the grounds. The hike is also an experience but fair warning cars are allowed up the trail. Be sure to pay attention to the marker at the top as it’s easily missed. Hiking Currahee gives you a feeling of pride. To know you are hiking the same hill that the boys of Easy Company also did in the 40s can make you emotional. Come here and experience what the heroes of times past also endured to keep the future of...

What a surreal and humbling experience to see the hill our brave men of Easy Company climbed in preparation of the unfathomable obstacles they would face in WW2.

The work and efforts these retired veterans and volunteers have put into the tour and exhibits to keep their spirit alive is commendable, especially during a time where history is so heavily censored.

I highly recommend taking the time to go out and support their cause as well as pay your respects to the heroes who fought for our country during such a monumental era.

Whether you are a history buff, a Band of Brothers fan, or a hiker, or maybe all in one, this...

The small remnant of the camp itself was closed, but I had come to run up Currahee itself ("three miles up, three miles down"). That was a soul touching experience in its own. A beautiful road through a beautiful forest. The only downside was the graffiti near the top, and that the purpose of the hill now is as a placement for cell towers, but there are views at the top that will momentarily allow you to ignore the modern world and see there Georgian countryside possible as the men of Easy Company saw it. Currahee!
