We had a good time! Our closest friend’s kid where playing ball here on Sunday the 11th. we deeply enjoyed going and watching the children in support of them being active and motivated. This was a beautiful location… lots of room here with a wide variety of activities like play area’s; there was a kids play area for small children and a, large kid play area, each area had slides , swings , monkey bars and a Merry go round, they (the park) ask you not to climb on the fences and if the children are too young to please be supervised. Animals are welcome as long as pet owners clean behind there pets. It was clean and there where some hiking trails, what really excited us was the frisbee game, it kind of reminds you of golf except your using a frisbee instead! they kept it well groomed a round the frisbee areas as well. They had refreshments and restrooms. They had staff a round for garbage and field fixing. They where sloppy with that, and most of the time people that worked there rode around on some kind of staff carts and stared around at everything and was talking more than I seen them really doing any work. But it just observation. There was a yellow jacket problem here. Over all I would say I...

We have been a regular visitor of Central Park since 2015. Overall our family likes the park. However, i wanted to share a not so pleasant experience from few weeks back.

Few weeks back in Aug 2020, when i was walking with my kids in central park near to the baseball fields i happened to step on the sewer drain lid and it opened up to my shocking surprise and i almost fell into the drain hole. Luckily the drain cap did not open fully otherwise it would have been more disastrous. I hurt my left leg badly and after few weeks, still recovering. This was a shocking experience for my kids as well. I'am attaching some photo's taken from the time of incident. In my opinion this should be treated as negligence. However, as there is NO prior incident reported, Sovereign Immunity would apply to Forsyth County under the Georgia Parks and Recreation Act. I have also observed one more drain cap shaking and have reported it that and it is being investigated.

Sharing this experience with the intent it might help other...

The park is fine but the coed softball is awful. You have single games at 9:45 instead of 6:45/7:45. You have double headers at 6:45&9:45. It you get a quick afternoon shower all games are cancelled even though the sidewalks didn't even get wet. Clueless umpires, especially santa, to the point that the defense is saying the runner was safe and the offense is calling themselves out to the ump. And when a pitch almost hits you in the foot and blue calls it a strike, don't look at him and say "are you serious" because you will get thrown out. This is the worst league I have ever seen. No wonder the number of teams shrink every year. We going somewhere else like...

It’s a perfect location inside the city of cumming, very popular, specially for the kids who plays soccer and baseball. Lovely place while your kids are playing you can have a quick walk as well as get freshen up under the tree with your chair very open and nice very well maintained by the county. You can also come without kids have plenty of people walk around to get a fresh air . I love this park, especially when it’s a big day. You can go on the long distance. You have to get back early home. It’s a perfect spot.
