Georgia Peach World — Attraction in Hinesville

I am done stopping here. I will buy the pecans online from now on . The young people who “ work “ here are not only lazy but rude … there was a group of about three blonde girls standing in the back having a conversation and an older woman kept saying excuse me .. but could someone help me , not one of the girls stopped talking to help her, l tried to get their attention, but failed , so l went up to the counter and said, “ would someone please help this lady !” I put down the bag of pecans l was holding ( they were out of my favorite pecans) and walked out, l was so appalled! l bought a basket of peaches and tomatoes outside in the parking lot for $77.00. On my last stop at Peach World over Memorial Day ( BF this trip on The 4th weekend ) .. the young girl selling their peaches in the parking lot said that the peaches across the street at the Shell station were better and cheaper. I have no idea why she offered up that unsolicited info ( but l will take her suggestion up next time )!! This young lady telling us to go across the street to buy peaches in a place NOT CONNECTED to Peach World is a prime example of the young people working there, they don’t seem to care about selling Peach World products . We have stopped here 6 times since April as we drive down from the north to our home in FL and to the mountains from FL during the summer… also we have have been stopping here for at least 10 yrs about 4 times a year, and l have never seen service as bad as this year. I will from now on skip Peach World and buy my peaches at the Shell station across the street and the other products on line. Also a few years ago when the barn on the North side of 95 down the road was opened we would stop there , once we were charged for hot sauce and salsa that were not in the bag. My husband checked the receipt bf we left and got our products. I thought this was just a mistake UNTIL l read other negative reviews. Check your receipts here and the bad reviews, they tell it as it is...

What an amazing surprise! I've seen places like this before but never considered giving them a try. I just assumed it was another souvenir shop. Let me tell you, my friend, it's definitely not that. First and foremost, the staff was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. I had this notion like what all can you do with peaches except a pie or eat it, but BRUH let me tell you, the question should be what can't they do with peach. I'm now a true fan. From the peach slush to the peach fudge and everything in between, it's all fantastic. I'm actually relieved that I had a budget, or else I might have loaded up my truck with their treats. Believe me, it might not be the prettiest looking location, but the flavors are remarkable. I'm kicking myself for waiting 18 years to give it a shot. I finally decided to try it since I won't be on the East Coast for a while, and I thought, if not now, then when? You absolutely have to check out this place it slaps for real. And guess what? They offer delivery, so no excuses. They've got a wide variety of samples you can try. I wish had more pics, but most the snacks didn't last long enough to take a pic 😭🤣. I wholeheartedly...

After our visit thought we'd order some peaches as their little store is ok. Mistake. Don't bother. There are TONS of other places to order from online! Emails? None answered. Phone calls? None returned. Problem with order? Don't care! Shipped with NO notification. Was expecting the order but not the exact date. We were called out of town, never got text, email, phone call that the peaches were on their way. But on ONE conversation with 'Anya' she said : Gee, don't know about that breakdown. Sometimes we send notices, sometimes we don't.' Guess we were the chosen NOT to notify. How can you run a business like this?

Had I known I could have had someone pick up the peaches. Instead, they sat in the 90 degree weather for THREE DAYS. Quite cooked once we received. Not good peaches. I asked for a discount on our next order. Refused! Well....I'm ordering from ANOTHER peach company after I finish this review. BE smart! Go somewhere else. This company doesn't care about customer service. OH, and PS: I was accused of 'yelling' at Anya, though I never raised my voice. She just didn't like the facts I was giving her. Can you say...
