This is a nice, quiet park with plenty of seating. It has one covered Pavilion with a grill, five baseball fields with covered (shaded) bleachers (which are perfect for meeting others for conversations when the baseball fields aren't in use), four batting cages can be seen by the baseball fields, handicapped accessible public restrooms (bring your own soap and tp paper; they are located across from the public pool next to the ball field and are accessible to the parking lot), a public, fenced-in pool (only has water inside when open for the season), lighted tennis courts (with four areas to play tennis), several picnic tables (you may want want to bring your own popup sun shade to put over the picnic tables since many of them are not shaded), two playgrounds for kids and lots of parking places throughout the park. This is a safe park for children and walkers. People can be seen walking their dogs on leashes. The baseball fields have lights and can be used at night. The park is behind the public library.

The baseball fields are well maintained and the playground is a very fun design! I love that the bleachers are covered which helps a lot in the summer. However, there are no accessible bathrooms minus a portapotty. My 3 year old in tee-ball has a hard time using these which makes baseball practice tough.

We went to play tennis there. There are 4 courts. For morning sport - start early on weekend, like around 7’ish

I LOVE this little park. But the groundskeeper who drives a white truck doesnt seem to takw his job seriously. Anytime I'm there, he's always just chillin in the pole barn. There's always trash, leftover food and other items scattered all over the park, and he's just in the pole barn and nothing has been done. I literally can't bring my dogs here anymore because they always find food to eat. I'd greatly appreciate it the cleanliness of the park was more...

Sewell Mill Park is a well-maintained neighborhood park offering a mix of athletic facilities and green space. It features tennis courts, a baseball field, and walking paths, making it ideal for both sports and casual visits. The park is clean, family-friendly, and usually peaceful, with plenty of shade and seating areas.

Final verdict: A solid local park for exercise, sports, or a relaxed outdoor break. Not overly crowded and great for regular...
